LASIK uses a precision cold laser to reshape the cornea and reduce or eliminate the need for corrective lenses.
Condition where the cornea/lens is not completely spherical and light entering the eye is scattered causing blurry vision.
Also known as nearsightedness; the eye is either too long or the cornea is too steep to allow light to focus directly on the retina. Instead, light focuses just before the retina causing distant images to appear blurry.
Referred to as farsightedness, light rays entering the eye have not focused completely before reaching the retina. The eye is no longer able to focus properly at close range but can still see distant objects.
A natural aging process of the eye that starts to affect people as early as age 40. Normally, the lens will change shape or accommodate to focus light on the retina. With presbyopia, the lens can no longer sufficiently change shape.
The first step to improving your vision is to call us and schedule a free consultation. At the consultation we will determine if you are a candidate for LASIK and the exact treatment you need.
If you are able to get LASIK treatment, your surgery date will be scheduled for the next available time that is convenient for you.
